Dion Teo Zi Xiang

Career Stage: Associate Consultant
Office: Kuala Lumpur
After graduating from the Nanyang Technological University with 1st class honours, I joined Arthur D. Little as a Business Analyst in 2008 in the Singapore office, and am now an Associate Consultant based in the Kuala Lumpur office.
I was extensively involved in non-profit work during university and one of the founding members of a charity events management organisation. I also did an internship at FJ Benjamin, working directly under the regional brand manager of Raoul, responsible for the merchandising of Raoul stores in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the UAE.
I feel that Arthur D. Little is a great firm for the young and adventurous. From Dubai to Riyadh to Tehran, consultants in ADL can expect to travel to a variety of places and work on many challenging assignments. I find the culture in Arthur D. Little to be collegial and enjoy every minute of work in ADL in the company of smart and fun-loving individuals.
My work as an Associate Consultant requires me to be extensive in my research, thorough in analysis and concise in creating presentation materials. I look forward to continue to engage and work with the clients’ management teams to resolve strategic issues faced by the client.

Career Stage: Manager
Office: Kuala Lumpur
I joined the Kuala Lumpuroffice of Arthur D. Little as a Consultant in September 2007, right after the completion of my MBA in INSEAD Singapore.
Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, I have worked with BNP Paribas in Spain, AC Nielsen in France and a Business Intelligence firm, with whom I was posted in nine different countries across Africa, Europe, Asia and the Middle East over four years.
The Director who recruited me to Arthur D. Little made it clear to me that the firm expected a lot from its Consultants in terms of working hours, but in return allowed them a great of autonomy. As I developed as a Consultant, I realized the truth in his words. I also greatly appreciate the diversity of projects I have been assigned to both in terms of sectors (public sector, telecommunications, heavy industries, real estate) and project type (commercial due diligences, corporate strategy design, international expansion, organization redesign, change management).
As a Manager at Arthur D. Little, I am expected to deliver projects and manage teams across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Managers are also expected to take an active part in business development activities, pitching for key projects with major clients. I also overlook the operational aspects of the Kuala Lumpur office.
